Experiential
Jockey teamed up with floral artist Mr. Flower Fantastic to bring the blossoming 80’s to ComplexCon. Through this experiential art exhibit, we helped build out an experience that amplified the Jockey brand in a fresh way and re-introduced Jockey to a new audience.
I was a lead creative on the project assisting with everything from the creative, social influencer partnerships, production of a live raffle, and talent management.
The Experience
The Artists
Mr. Flower Fantastic, Floral Artist
An artist from New York City, MFF has become a topic of conversation in pop culture through his grandiose art sculptures made completely from flowers. At this year's ComplexCon he set out to make the NYC streets of the 80's blossom.
BLADE, Graffiti Artist
Known for his whole-car murals, Blade has painted more than 5,000 trains in his career, earning him the title as the King of Grafitti. His legendary status is known worldwide as he continues to do collabs with brands like Supreme.
SAR, Graffiti Artist
Goof friend and partner to Blade, Sar is a New York Grafitti artist from the hay day of NYC graffiti. Many consider him a historian of BMT graffiti from his Queens neighborhood, and from the stories I heard this holds true.
I worked with our producer to manage our artists and talent for the production of this ComplexCon experience. I structured schedules and timing for the talent, provided their materials, and mostly listened to their legendary stories of their time with Basquiat, Warhol, and so many more.
Social Influencer Partnerships
Host, and cultural commentator.
Host, skater and sneaker collector.
I was in charge of selecting our social influencers to document, share, and amplify Jockey's presence at ComplexCon in the social sphere. I worked with Scottie and Steezus throughout the weekend to capture the activity and notable moments at the booth.
Giveaways
Graffiti Shirt Raffle
Our artists Blade & Sar did a life tagging on a billboard covered in over 150 white Jockey t-shirts. Those who visited the booth could register to win one of these uniquely painted tiled shirts.
